Horná kúpeľňa / Bathroom Upstairs

Táto kúpeľňa má všetko okrem dverí. Jedny sú plánované do technickej časti (wc, práčka, kotol) a jedny majú byť vchodové. Zatiaľ mi dvere nechýbajú, keď na to budú prebytočné peniažky, budú aj dvere... ale predtým budú rolldory :-) nech zmizne sklad z detskej izby :-)

Je to skvelé miesto na oddych, farby sú úlne slniečkové a spravia človeku dobrú náladu hneď od rána.

This bathroom has got everything except doors. One is planned to the separate the technical part (wc, washing-mashine, heater) and the other one to the entrance. At this moment I don´t miss them, if I have any unnecessary budget, doors will appear... but before the doors the rolldoors should come :-) to make the storage-room disappear from the children-room :-)

It´s a nice place to relax, its colours are completely sunny and makes you feel good immediately since early morning.

Veľmi príjemná, chýba v nej akurát tak podlahové kúrenie... ale to nie je vec bez ktorej by nemohla fungovať... Som s ňou stále spokojná.

Všetko zelené je vítané / Anything Green Welcome

Možno je to zvláštne (teda mne určite), ale v našej domácnosti sa výborne darí všetkému, čo je zelené, rastlinné a rastúce.
Takto dopadli jarné kvietky (krókusy), ktoré som sadila neskoro v novembri... Okrem všetkých tých, čo sú vysadené v záhrade priamo v zemi, tieto sú v kvetináčoch aby zdobili terasu. Nateraz skončili v predsieni - keďže vyrašili a sú zelenšie ako som predpokladala...

May be it´s strange (at least for myself sure), but our home is a really great place to grow anything green, floral and growing.
This is how our spring crocuses look like, they were set late in November... Except those ones placed directly in the garden these ones have been planted to decorate the terrace in spring. Now they decorate the entrance hall - they are greener then expected this time...





Mandarínkam sa tiež celkom darí, rastú a dozrievajú stále nové.

Mandarines do well too, they grow and give fruit all the time.





Druhý pokus o zamioculcas - nakoľko prvý neprežil vlaňajšie zimné sťahovanie do bytu.

The second version of zamioculcas - because of the first version did not survive the last year´s moving to the flat in winter.



Sezónna miniatúrna ružička, ktorá nahradila ostré chilli a chryzantému.

The seasonal miniature rose which replaced the hot chilli and chrysanthemium.



Vodná kráska v kúpeľni - zatiaľ to zvláda, možno sa jej tu bude dariť viac ako sa darilo fikusiakovi.

Water beauty in the bathroom - up-till-now it survives, hopefully it will like the place much more than the ficus previously.



Veľký zachránený fikus, ktorý zomieral už v obchode a u nás doma ožil. Doviezli sme ho s pomocou pána Benku.

The big ficus - survival, which was dying at the fleurist already. We brought it home with the help of Mr. Benka.

Tridsiate a prvé Vianoce / The 30th And The 1st Christmas

Tridsiate preto, lebo toľko rokov lietam po tomto svete.
Prvé preto, lebo sú to prvé pokojné v našom novom domove.

Tie vlaňajšie boli tiež konečne príjemné, avšak boli výrazne poznačené problémami s Katonom, prichádzajúcou hospodárskou krízou (o ktorej dopadoch sa len opatrne predikovalo), zúriacou plynovou krízou (ktorú sme pocítili dosť intenzívne... odvtedy nemám rada vrkoče), Samsungom, kórejskými hruškami, Corkinou operáciou a nesmierne nejasnou budúcnosťou a čiernymi oblakmi na obzore... napriek tomu to už však bolo obdobie výrazného pokoja v pohodlnom byte.

Tieto Vianoce sú príjemné, pokojné a pohodové. Som tu síce sama s Corkou a Eliškou, ale máme pokoj, kľud, pohodu.
Navarila som kopec šošovice (aj pre zoo) a netradičnú vianočnú večeru - moje obľúbené maslové zemiaky a pečenú rybku na masle, kôpre a víne. Proste - keďže tu okrem mňa nikto nie je, nemala som chuť babrať sa so šalátom, vyprážaním a procesmi okolo toho.
Celý dom som vyčistila, postavila som vianočný stromček, Corka s Eliškou sa celý deň motali po dome, zabŕdali do seba a odpočívali...

Onedlho kukneme Perinbabu, pustíme sa do večere, možno kukneme aj Tři oříšky (klasika československej populácie), zoo pojde spinkať a pekný Štedrý večer je za nami.

Verím tomu, že budúce Vianoce budú aspoň také pokojné ako tieto, a snáď nás bude aj o jedného člena rodiny viac... (ale nemyslím tým zoo zvieratko, skôr inú potvorku).

The 30th because of as many years I cruise this world.
The 1st because of this is the first quiet in our new home.

Those last year´s were nice as well, but were too much underlined and influenced by troubles with Katona, by coming global crisis (which results were hardly predictable), actual gas crisis (which results we felt quite intensively... since that time I don´t like plaited hair), by Samsung, Korean pears, Cora´s surgery and very unbright future and black clounds on the ceiling... anyway that was a time of quite nice calm in my comfy flat.

This Christmas is nice, quite and peacefull. I am alone here, with Cora and Eliška, but we have the quiet we need.
I cooked a terrible amount of lentil soup (for the zoo as well) and a pretty non-traditional dinner - my favourite butter-patatoes and a baked fish on butter, dill and white vine. I was not in a mood to prepare the traditional patatoe salad and a traditionally prepared fish with all the stuff around.
The house is cleaned already, our Christmas tree is beautifull already, Cora and Eliška were browsing the house all day, playing and sleeping...

We will have a look at Perinbaba, enjoy our Christmas dinner and may be we will see the Tři oříšky too (clasics of the czechoslovakian population), zoo will go to sleep and the Christmas Eve is over...

I believe next Christmas will be at least as quiet as today and hopefully we our small family will grow up at least by one more member... (I mean a "human" member, not a "zoo" type).

Predvianočný víkend / Pre-Christmas Weekend

Kuchyňa a rúra tento uplynulý víkend prežila svoje prvé testovacie Vianoce.

V utorok sme mali pracovnú husacinu v Grobe a taxikár čo ma viezol domov, bol môj bývalý sused z Kolosea.
V stredu či vo štvrtok napadla fúra snehu (teda fúra - na tunajšie pomery fúra) a začalo byť intenzívne pod nulou aj cez deň... Vtedy šla na podobnú akciu potvorka tak som uvítala možnosť testovacej jazdy v tej večernej aj minusovej zime vyhriatym autíčkom.

Keďže zima trvala až do víkendu, naše plány vyraziť na Vianočné trhy padli za obeť pečeniu vianočných sladkostí. No a v sobotu večer sme si Vianočné trhy nahradili čerstvou vianočnou susedskou kapustnicou aj s pár zasneženými koláčikmi od nás a chutnou hruškou, kôprovicou či vareným vínom od ďalších susedov... V nedeľu som dostala od susedky tradičné imelo a od ďalšej účet za vodu :-) a pekný víkend je za nami.

The kitchen and the oven survived their first testing Christmas cooking/baking last weekend.

We had a Christmas Goose Fest in Grob on Tuesday, and I was surprised of meeting my former neighbour from Koloseo - who took me home by a taxi.
On Wednesday of Thursday a lot of snow appeared outside (well - "lot" means lot in this area) and temperatures dropped down bellow zero for 24 hours a day... Those days our friend went to a similar party so I was really happy of having the opportunity to test his heated car both in evening´s and early morning´s freezes.

As far as this weather last even during the weekend our plans to visit the Christmas markets were replaced by baking the sweet Christas cakes. And on Saturday night we replaced it by the fresh Christmas neighbours cabbage soup with some snowed cakes (made by me) and delicious pear, dill or hot wine (prepared by other neighbours... On sunday I received a traditinal mistletoe from my neighbour and the bill for water use from the other one :-) and the nice weekend was over.
