Feeling domova so záclonkami / A "Home" Feeling With Curtains

Včera bol taký pekný druhý jarný deň. Presnejšie - radosť nám spravilo krásne slniečko (konečne po dlhej a zamračenej zime), aj keď vonku bolo tesne nad nulou...
Dobrá duša Marek nám pomohol namontovať garniže (za čo ešte raz veľmi ďakujeme), a po sprataní všetkej špiny po maľovaní stien sme s mamou vyvesili všetky záclony, ktoré na túto chvíľu čakali už skoro presne pol roka.

Dom neuveriteľne zmenil výzor - zvnútra nadobudol konečne "domácu" atmosféru a zvonka pripomína obývaný priestor. Podstatné však je, že dva zámery boli včera splnené - záclonky majú nielen pekný dekoratívny charakter, ale aj účelový - teraz už susedia nebudú mať dokonalý prehľad o tom, čo sa vnútri domu deje :-)

Yesterday was a very nice second spring day. Better said - we enjoyed the beautifull and warm sunshine (waw, after this long and cloudy winter), eventhough the temperature hardly reached few degrees above zero...
Our "beautifull mind" Marek helped us a lot with the traverse rods (thanks a lot once more), and after cleaning all dirt after painting we hang up the curtains, which were waiting for this moment almost half a year.

The house unbelievably changed its look - inside it has got a "home" atmospere and from outside it seems to be an inhabited place. Important thing is, that my two intentions have been successfully reached: the curtains are not only decorative, but also usefull - our neighbours will not have the complete overview about anything that happens inside :-)

Malá veľká vec: biele steny / A Little Big Thing: White Walls

WaW, konečne aktivita, ktorá je celkom jednoducho zvládnuteľná aj pre nás - ženy.
Opäť pomohli zlaté ruky, dobrá vôľa a ochota dobrej duše - Mareka. Verím tomu, že sa všetky jeho problémy čoskoro vyriešia - rovnako ako verím tomu, že sa aj moje posunú zase bližšie k vyriešeniu... V každom prípade, Marek svojou časťou pomáha veľmi. Vlastne teraz je aj ťažké vyjadriť adekvátnym spôsobom vďaku... ale myslím, že to chápe.

Maľovanie mám rada, raz sme to už absolvovali s Ervínom v byte - bolo to iné a hlavne špinavšie, nakoľko sme likvidovali tisíce voskovkových motýlikov v terajšej spálni a modré, žlté, broskyňové a podobné farby na stenách s 50-ročnou históriou predchádzajúcich vrstiev ďalších farieb... (ktoré sa občas pre istotu samé rolovali za zem, aby dokazovali neobmedzenú platnosť gravitačného zákona).

O pár dní bude vymaľovaný celý dom a bude vyvoniavať citrónovou vôňou bielej farby. Ide to celkom rýchlo a bude to pekné... Pôvodne mali mať všetky interiérové steny krémovú farbu, avšak na krémovú si počkáme na neskôr, možno keď sa jedného dňa dopracujeme k lepším a kľudnejším zajtrajškom a postaveniu kachľovej pece v obývačke...
Teraz bude všetko pekné biele. Už aj dnes to vyzerá krásne.

WaW, finally an activity which is easily done by women as well.
Again, I received a lot of help of the golden hands, good will and simply a willingness of a beautifull mind - Marek. I believe his troubles will be solved soon - as I believe in moving my troubles forward to the succesfull solutions... Anyway, Marek helps a lot on his way. And at this moment it is quite hard to express thanks on the adequate way... but I think he understands.

I like painting, we did it once already with Ervín, in the flat, few years ago. It was a little bit different - much more dirty, because we needed to put out thousands of wax-drawn-butterflies in the bedroom and all blue, yellow, peach and other different colours on the walls with the history of last 50 years with maaaaaany layers of paints on... (to be sure of unlimited existence of the gravity principle some of these layers rolled down themselves, of course).

Within few days the house will be white inside (except the kitchen and one room upstairs) and will smell by lemon (surprisingly this is the smell of our paint). It goes quickly and it will be nice... Original plan was to have all interieur walls of creamy colour - but we postponed it. May be one day, when better and more quiet days come into our lives and we install the tiled ceramic kiln (fire-place) in the living-room...
Now everything will be clean white. It looks nice even now.
